Our suggested itineraries for exploring Gatineau Park
The Relais Plein Air is perfectly located to start your journey in Gatineau Park! Depending on your choice of destination, the trails allow you to explore the Park as a whole, whether on foot or by bike!
Pink Lake
Pink Lake is the number one destination for most citizens for one simple reason: the view is magnificent.
To get there, you have two options: the shortest route or the longest route.
Option 1 (4.4km)
From the Relais, take the 27 towards the Parc (opposite direction of Asticou). Afterwards, you will reach an intersection with the 5. Take the right and then the first exit on the left. This will take you to the Gatineau parkways which have limited access to cars (see online for the schedule). Once on this road, simply go up to Lac Pink.
Recommended bike: Electric
Option 2 (5.21 km)
This path, longer than option 1, allows you to avoid the Promenades de la Gatineau by taking you through wooded and rocky terrain.
From the Relais, take the 27 towards the Parc (opposite direction of Asticou). Afterwards, you will reach an intersection with the 5. Take the right and without turning left as before , continue a little further. You will then arrive at an intersection between the 5 and the 25. Take the 25 on the left and stay on course. This will direct you to the 15. Take the left again at the next intersection and turn onto the 35 when the sign tells you to. Continue a little further and you will arrive at Lac Pink.
Recommended bike: Mountain or Fatbike
