Rules of use - Gatineau Access Card +

As a partner of the City of Gatineau for the development of the urban outdoors in the region, the Relais plein air offers holders of the Accès Gatineau + card (priced card), equipment rental for a period of 1 hour per week.

Thanks to the support of the City, card holders can borrow the following equipment free of charge for a period of 1 hour each week:

Winter season

• Set of cross-country skis - with scales ;
• Snowshoes ;
• Hiking crampons

Summer season

• Canoes
• Kayaks
• Paddle boards

All Conditions for participation in self-guided activities (equipment rental) apply, among others:

* Presentation of current card required - as well as on the city portal*

*A valid ID and your Accès Gatineau+ card will be kept as a deposit at reception until the equipment is returned.

*Limit of 1 cancellation or modification to your reservation per month.

*The Relais plein air is not required to offer exactly the same advantages as the loan counters of urban outdoor centers which are administered by the city of Gatineau.

*Respect and courtesy at the Relais plein air are required. The Relais staff may decide to refuse to grant this free service to disrespectful visitors. This assessment and decision is at their sole discretion.
