Terms and conditions

You acknowledge that you and all participants you have registered for the activity do not have any physical, emotional or behavioral health problems that, directly or indirectly, would limit you in the practice of the activity in which you will participate, that you do not have any allergies, and that you are not taking any medication. If this is not the case, you confirm that you have informed the Relais Plein Air. After discussing it with a person responsible for the Relais Plein Air and obtaining their approval to participate in the organization's activity program, you accept the additional risk that could lead to a possible worsening of your health condition.

You confirm that you do not have any symptoms related to COVID-19.

I acknowledge having been informed of the risks inherent in the activities that are part of the Gatineau Park Outdoor Relay program.
The risks of this program of activities in which I am participating are, more specifically, but not limited to:

• Injuries due to falls or other movements (sprain, strain, fracture, etc.);
• Injuries with blunt or sharp objects (branches, equipment, etc.);
• Cold or hypothermia;
• Injuries resulting from accidental or non-accidental contact between individuals;
• Food allergy, due to insect bites, pollen or any other source;
• Contact with water or drowning (during aquatic activities or near a watercourse);
• Burns or heat disorders.

You are aware of the risks associated with Covid-19 and Lyme disease, and you waive any claim or lawsuit for damages resulting from involuntary transmission.

I certify that the information recorded in this form is accurate, to the best of my knowledge. I certify that I have not deliberately omitted any information (relevant or not) about my state of health or that of any of the people registered with me .

You and all participants you have registered for the activity agree not to consume, have in their possession or be under the influence of any drugs, illicit substances or medication (prescription or not) that are not mentioned to the Relais Plein Air staff. All participants registered for the activity also confirm (not to be under the influence of alcohol / to be below the blood alcohol limit of 80 mg per 100 ml of blood, commonly known as "point zero eight"), and to remain so for the entire duration of the activity. All participants registered for the activity are aware that any failure to comply with these rules on their part could lead to expulsion without notice, and without the possibility of reimbursement.

I, the undersigned, and on behalf of the participants I have registered for this activity, hereby waive any claim, as well as any lawsuit for damages against the Relais Plein Air du parc de la Gatineau and its partners (CCN, City of Gatineau, Les amis du parc de la Gatineau and others) for any damage to property and equipment belonging to me (normal wear and tear, loss, breakage, theft, vandalism, etc.).

I, the undersigned, and on behalf of the participants I have registered for this activity, authorize the Relais plein air to provide all necessary first aid and to make the decision in the event of an accident to transport the participant(s) registered for the activity on this form (by ambulance, helicopter, coast guard or otherwise) to a hospital or community health facility, all, if applicable, at my own expense.

 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS - Equipment Rental

Modification, cancellation and refund of a rental

By the customer:

• Up to 48 hours before the start of the activity: Reservations can be moved to another available date - you can make this change yourself by following the instructions in your confirmation email;
• Less than 48 hours before the start of the activity: Reservations can no longer be moved, unless in cases of force majeure supported by reasonable proof. The Relais plein air team reserves the right to judge the reasonableness of this proof.;
• Once a reservation has been created and paid for, reservations cannot be cancelled at the customer's request and refunded unless there is a case of force majeure supported by reasonable proof. The Relais plein air team reserves the right to judge the reasonableness of this proof. Rain, bad weather in general, and unrecommended conditions of winter recreational trails are not valid justifications for cancelling or moving your reservation.
• If a modification to the rented equipment is required, the modification will be made subject to inventory availability . In such a case, the original reservation will be cancelled and refunded, and a new reservation will be created and paid for.

By the Relais plein air:

• The following reasons are examples, but are not limited to, reasons for modification or cancellation of a reservation by Relais Plein Air:
• Dangerous weather conditions (strong winds, electrical storms, extreme temperatures, torrential rain);
• Closure of Gatineau Park, part of the Park, trails (summer and winter);
• Public health measure;
• Other cases of force majeure;
• In the event of modification or cancellation of your reservation by Relais Plein Air, you can move your reservation to another available date, free of charge, or be reimbursed.

Delays, breakages, loss and theft

The customer assumes full responsibility for the equipment during the rental period and agrees to return the equipment on the agreed date and time, in good condition. In the event of breakage, loss or theft of equipment, the following costs will be charged to the customer.

The maximum cost of repairing or replacing the equipment is equal to the replacement value of the equipment:

• Winter bike: $1200
• Cross-country skis: $500
• Snowshoes: $150
• Hiking crampons: $90
• Accessories: $500

A customer's delay at the start time of their reservation is their responsibility and will not be compensated by the Relais plein air by changing the times of their reservation.

A customer's delay in returning their reservation will result in a late fee of $50/hour if the delay exceeds 15 minutes.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS - Sale of physical goods (cards, day passes, clothing and other physical items)

All physical goods sold online must be picked up at the Relais Plein Air reception (397 Bd de la Cité-des-Jeunes). No deliveries will be made.

Sales of physical goods (purchased online or on-site) are final. No returns or refunds will be made.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS - Relais Yoga

• Seasonal subscriptions
• No refund less than 7 days before the start of the session;
• Partial refund more than 7 days before the start of the session, administrative fees of $20 + taxes will be retained;
• Discount code applies to 8 and 12 week sessions;
• $10 discount for the purchase of 2 courses from the same session or $10 discount for a second subscription from the same family;
• You must put both classes in the same basket and apply the code YOGAA2. The cost of the session includes 2 "absence" classes, taking into consideration life's unforeseen events;
• From now on, only one course resumption is permitted.
