Self-guided rental of a Northwoods DualDrive 21-speed tandem bike for a ride along the Sentiers de la Capitale and in Gatineau Park.
Various adjustments are available to accommodate different types of pairs.
Suitable for duos with specific needs (e.g., a person with visual impairment riding at the back with a guide in front, or a person with an intellectual disability or autism riding at the back with an accompanying rider in front).

A rental service with personalized support tailored to your needs
The rental of adapted equipment includes accompaniment during the first outing. A Relais Plein Air staff member will assist you with a safe setup, help you become familiar with the equipment, and ensure the experience is tailored to your needs. This is how we provide a safe and enjoyable outdoor experience.
How it works:
- Before your first visit: Please complete the Inclusive and Adapted Activities Profile Form (link here). Once the form is received, our kinesiologist may contact you to assess your request.
- First outing: Your attendant will take care of you — including setup, familiarization with the equipment, and verifying your abilities before departure.
Don’t need accompaniment?
Please indicate this in your form — our team will review your request and confirm whether you can rent the equipment independently.
The team reserves the right to refuse access at any time if there is a risk to your safety. Some equipment may have specific safety instructions, which will be presented to you during your first outing.
Loans are also offered to organizations and schools.
