Set out to discover the magnificent fall colours during a guided walk in the heart of Gatineau Park, led by an interpretive guide from Les Amis du parc de la Gatineau.
Starting from the Relais Plein Air, let yourself be guided along the trails to observe the season’s vibrant colours and uncover the forest’s autumn secrets. Throughout the walk, your guide will help you better understand how the landscape transforms, while sharing fascinating anecdotes about the wildlife, plant life, and the species preparing for the arrival of colder weather.
Take the time to slow down, observe, and soak in the autumn scenery while enjoying the knowledge of a passionate nature interpreter.
Whether you’re an outdoor enthusiast, curious to learn more about the park, or simply looking for a beautiful fall outing, this activity offers a friendly and enriching way to enjoy the season.

A rental service with personalized support tailored to your needs
The rental of adapted equipment includes accompaniment during the first outing. A Relais Plein Air staff member will assist you with a safe setup, help you become familiar with the equipment, and ensure the experience is tailored to your needs. This is how we provide a safe and enjoyable outdoor experience.
How it works:
- Before your first visit: Please complete the Inclusive and Adapted Activities Profile Form (link here). Once the form is received, our kinesiologist may contact you to assess your request.
- First outing: Your attendant will take care of you — including setup, familiarization with the equipment, and verifying your abilities before departure.
Don’t need accompaniment?
Please indicate this in your form — our team will review your request and confirm whether you can rent the equipment independently.
The team reserves the right to refuse access at any time if there is a risk to your safety. Some equipment may have specific safety instructions, which will be presented to you during your first outing.
Loans are also offered to organizations and schools.
