Yin Yoga is a gentle and meditative practice that stands apart from more dynamic styles of yoga. It is characterized by postures held for extended periods, usually between 3 and 5 minutes, thereby promoting deep relaxation and stretching of connective tissues such as ligaments, tendons, and fascia.
Origins: Yin Yoga emerged in the 1970s, combining elements of Hatha Yoga and Chinese Taoist practices. The term "Yin Yoga" was introduced by Sarah Powers to distinguish this approach from traditional Taoist yoga.
Purchase and Refund Policy
No refunds less than 7 days before the start of the session.
Partial refund available more than 7 days before the start of the session; a $20 administrative fee + taxes will be withheld.
The discount code applies to the 8- and 12-week sessions.
A $10 discount is offered when purchasing 2 classes within the same session, or a $10 discount for a second membership within the same family.
You must place both classes in the same cart and apply the code YOGAA2.
